Reporting to the Senior Recruiter, the successful candidate directly supports Ricoh hiring managers in Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada by sourcing, qualifying, and recommending external candidates primarily for sales and/or other non-management professional-level positions and/or Production Management positions, and other non sales related positions as required by handling administrative and reporting responsibilities, and by providing outstanding customer service in support of client headcount and business needs. Has authority to act within broad, generally accepted guidelines whose decisions can impact the entire marketplace.

• Routinely demonstrates and creates a helpful and positive work culture.
• Encourages and builds positive relationships and communicates effectively with all co-workers and outside vendors.
• Conducts self at all times in support of the positive public image of the company and in accordance with the Ricoh code of ethics.
• Develops effective partnerships with Ricoh hiring managers to understand their business and recruiting needs and establish effective recruiting strategies.
• Sources candidates by utilizing Internet, employee referrals, manager referrals, candidate referrals, cold calling, advertising, job fairs, general inquiries/unsolicited resumes, and in rare circumstances by co-ordinating with external search firms/agencies.
• Receives job requirements from hiring managers and posts effective ads on Internet search engines.
• Establishes positive relationships with candidates, effectively presents Ricoh as an employer of choice, and assists hiring managers in negotiating/closing hires.
• Utilizes Ricoh’s Track Record/Competency-based Behavioural Interview Model to interview and qualify candidates.
• Recommends qualified candidates to hiring managers and schedules on-site interviews.
• Follows up with both candidates and hiring managers and appropriately works with both parties to assist in decision-making/negotiation process.
• In rare, special circumstances, co-ordinates with Ricoh approved external search firms/agencies in support of client hiring needs; manages search firm relationship and applies Ricoh Candidate Qualification Model to search firm candidates.
• Recommends final candidates to hiring managers and arranges on-site interviews, handles administration/paperwork, extends and collects offer letters, negotiates compensation, etc.
• Communicates, co-ordinates and negotiates compensation packages for new hires.
• Develops standard Ricoh offer letters, distributes them to hiring manager or candidates, and collects completed/signed offer letters from candidates.
• Submits or assists with proper HR related documentation, including background check, Ricoh Code of Ethics, Confidentiality Agreements, etc. for all new hires.
• Develops and distributes rejection letters and appropriately handles rejection process.
• Communicates/co-ordinates with local HR and hiring manager regarding accepted offers and co-ordinates new hire transitional process with local HR staff.
• Enters all required candidate, recruiting activity and reporting information into ATS with 100% accuracy on a timely basis.
• Provides accurate required and appropriate reports to customers and internal staff on time.
• Participates effectively and appropriately in district, marketplace and HR conference calls.
• Focuses on providing positive, flexible, value-added customer service to all clients.
• Communicates regularly and in keeping with Best Practice Standards with all customers.
• Contributes daily to foster a positive work environment.
• Maintains/protects confidentiality of sensitive/confidential information.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• 4 year university degree, or equivalent business experience, is required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in recruiting and/or sales is required.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access) is required.
• Experience in Applicant Tracking Systems is required including data entry.
• Behaviour based interviewing skills are required.
• Bilingualism (English/French) is mandatory.
