Our client, a successful leader in the food packaging/ manufacturing industry, is currently seeking a Production Supervisor to join their team! This is a great opportunity to work with a stable company in the Modesto area. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity.
Compensation: $50,000 per year, DOE
Requirements:
Must have strong and effective leadership skills, and the ability to successfully manage a staff
Candidate must be comfortable with all levels of employees and have the ability to drive positive program change
Must have the ability to train others
Must have the ability to give negative and positive feedback to employees on a daily basis
Must have excellent time management skills
Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks without losing focus on priorities
Must have strong organizational and analytical skills
Must be innovative and have the ability to make changes to the operations as needed to further improve the work environment and unit performance
Must have basic computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Outlook
Must be able to express oneself clearly and effectively when speaking and writing to individuals and groups; listening attentively and insures communication is understood by all parties involved
Helps develop, update and maintain procedures and documentation for all Quality Systems and HAACP, including Production methods and paperwork
Education and Experience
A high school diploma or equivalent
Prefer someone with a College degree
Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
A minimum of three years supervisory experience working in a high volume, manufacturing, food production, and restaurant or catering environment
